MASTERCARD DEAL PROPELS USA TECHNOLOGIES.

Bolstered by its contract with MasterCard Worldwide for the deployment of e-Port G-6 payment card-acceptance devices for vending machines, USA Technologies Inc. yesterday reported revenues of $2.01 million for the second quarter ended Dec. 31, up 2.6% from $1.96 million during the same period in 2005. The company, however, reported a net loss of $4.38 million for the quarter. That compares with a $2.86 million loss during the second quarter of 2005.
