WA: Police hunt gunman

PERTH, April 18 AAP - WA police investigating a shooting incident in suburban Perth
have ended up charging another man with drug offences and seizing luxury cars.

A 35-year-old man was shot in the upper leg after he and three other men knocked on
the front door of a house in Hislop Road, Attadale, shortly after 10am (WST) on Friday
to confront occupants over an alleged domestic dispute.

The wounded man was admitted to Fremantle Hospital, but the gunman was still at large
on Saturday.

Sergeant Graham Clifford said Tactical Response Group officers had been called into
the manhunt as the gunman was considered dangerous.

"It appears a group of four men came to a house and an argument started with the occupants
of the house," he told AAP.

"A gun was discharged and one of the visitors received a serious but not life threatening
wound to the upper leg."

Meanwhile, police arrested and charged a 30-year-old man at the premises after a search
located 87 grams of amphetamine, 98 grams of cannabis and $149,300 cash.

Police also seized two Porsche cars, other vehicles and put a freeze notice on the
property, which was valued at about $1 million.

The man was charged with possess a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply and
unlawful possession. He will appear at the Perth Magistrates Court on Saturday.
