MELBOURNE, Dec 12 AAP - The teenager shot dead by Victorian police on Thursday night
has a MySpace page which shows him to be a member of a nationalist group which calls itself
Southern Cross Soldiers (SCS).

Tyler Cassidy's page has a video link to the Cronulla riots of 2005 and a plea from
the Southern Cross Soldiers insisting their group is not racist but is disturbed Australians
are becoming a minority in their own country.

There are also tributes to the dead youth with one from PBTA, or Proud to be Aussie,
saying he was "gunned down by idiot cops".

"You were a mad little bastard but no-one will ever forget you," the tribute said.

"We will keep SCS going in your name."

Another, from Gazza, said Tyler was "a respected bloke".

"You went down fighting like a true champion," Gazza said.

Another, from Kingston, promised revenge saying "we will get them f...ers back, memba
revenge is sweet".

There is also a spiel at the end his web page by Kingston which says the Southern Cross
Soldiers are "true Aussies, by that I do not mean the colour of our skin."

"This is about how we walk down the main street in any town, or city in Australia and
see more foreign flags then we do Aussie, hear more foreign languages then we do English,
in all honesty it's about the fact that we as true australians are becoming the monority
(sic) in OUR own country."

Tyler was shot and killed by three police officers in a Melbourne park on Thursday
night after allegedly threatening to kill them.
