NSW:Kyogle evacuees allowed home again
SYDNEY, Dec 28 AAP - After a night away from home, 175 people evacuated due to flooding
in northeastern NSW are already able to return.
The 65 properties in Kyogle that were evacuated on Monday night are now out of danger
as floodwaters subside on the Richmond River.
However, 800 people are still isolated in the towns of Urbenville and Bonalbo, to the
west of Kyogle and are expected to be cut off for at least another 24 hours.
There was also good news for the residents of Eugowra, in the state's central west,
who were allowed to return to their homes at 10am (AEDT) on Tuesday as the Mandagery Creek
fell below its minor flood level.
