WHAT? TMA31 is the thirty-first in the series of TMA (Telecommunications Managers Association) Annual Conventions. This is the premier data, voice and image communications Exhibition and Conference in the UK.
WHEN? TMA31 dates are 5 to 7 October 1998.
WHERE? TMA31 takes place in Brighton, across three main sites - Brighton Conference Centre, the Grand and Metropole Hotels.
FOR WHOM? TMA31 visitors will include telecoms, networks, and IS professionals; board level and senior departmental management; corporate business strategists and analysts.
TMA31 EXHIBITION This is the biggest annual event of its kind in Europe. Based on attendances in recent years, the 15,000 square metres of expo presentations are likely to attract 20,000 visitors.

TMA31 CONFERENCE The premier UK conference for communications technologies providers and users. Up to 900 delegates will attend.
On Day One of the TMA31 Conference the focus is upon issues and opportunities faced by organisations selling products and services in the telecoms and IT marketplace. Delegates from UK and other European countries will represent PTTs, OEMs, systems integrators, VARs, dealers, and consultancies. Themes of the two half day conference segments are 'Dynamics of the Telecoms Marketplace' and 'Minimising Risk and Maximising Loyalty'.
Days Two and Three will concentrate on the strategic needs of the business user community and will be divided into four half-day segments: 'Visions of the New Millennium', 'Collaborative Networking', The Global Information Society', and 'The Information Hallway'. Each segment is comprised of plenary sessions only.
TMA31 Conference is chaired in Question Time style interactive format by Carol Thatcher (Day One), Sir David Frost (Days Two and Three).
